Obscure (free) Holiday Music

Spice up your party with some obscure holiday music, courtesy of Andy Cirzan. Two 30-minute MP3 files, cover art and track listings for his newest cassette release are available for free at Sound Opinions.

I found out about this awesome holiday mix on the 12/21/09 Sound Opinions podcast which also includes an interview with Andy Cirzan himself.

About

My New Years resolution in 2009 was to spend more time documenting things in my life. Events, performances, friends, traveling, my work, and everything else going on. I'll let you in on some of it here. Welcome. I'm Mike. Nice to meet you.

Work

I'm the Web Manager for Enrollment at Emerson College in Boston, MA. I coordinate and oversee Enrollment's online marketing strategy through our website, e-communication and social media.

Some recent highlights include being quoted in a Time.com article, "Facebook's Latest Role: College Guidance Counselor" and writing a guest post on the Higher Education Blog .eduGuru.

Life

Music: I'm currently the drummer in The Hail Baby, a rock band based in Arlington, MA. You can find our songs available on iTunes and see our upcoming shows on Facebook. There's also a few videos of us on YouTube.

Rockclimbing: I've become a pretty avid rock climber, visiting outdoor sites in the Massachusetts area. If you're in the Boston area looking for indoor climbing, I'd suggest Boston Rock Gym, Metro Rock, or Boston Rock Spot.
